Unique Narrowbeam 'Barge Style' 

f you don't want to pass a boat the same as yours... then our unique barge style could be what you are looking for.  Our narrowbeam 'barge style' craft use the principal 'go anywhere' dimensions of a normal narrowboat, but employ a quite different styling, encompassing the best aspects of narrowboats and dutch barge designs.

Vertical hull sides and higher gunwales lead to far greater usable internal space. Kitchen cabinets, chairs and loose furniture all fit beneath the gunwales.  The barge style has a large sociable stern deck, large enough for family, friends and the pet dog.

The bow deck that you're familiar with on a normal narrowboat is not found in the high bows of the barge style, which creates greater cabin space.  Often the main sleeping cabin takes the full width of the boat at the bow, allowing a 4ft 6 full size double bed, or even a full width king size!
